Question 2

Question 2 A

Why did you choose the specific image(s)? Your explanation must include:

a) Business relevance

b) Target audience alignment

c) Image intent

d) Why this visual works better than alternative visual approaches

I chose the images because they accurately illustrate each tip in the post. The post is about nutrition which is a relevant topic for our customer base as they seek a healthier lifestyle and each image highlights a different way to stay healthy. The goal with this post is to build awareness about friendly muscles and our services, the post naturally segways a visually led list style post into our offer. The reason why this visual works better than other visuals is because it prioritizes scannability, if the viewer was to only look at the images and not the text they would still retain the core message of the content. This means less time reading and they are more likely to reach the CTA.

All of the visuals include an image and a small blurb that summarizes the whole of the paragraph. This condenses the overall content down and allows for easy scrolling. Users will spend time reading what matters to them when the visual element intrigues them. If the user sees a visual element that talks about meal prep and that intrigues them they are more likely to read the full thing.

Question 2 B

Explain in detail how the image(s) strengthens the post from a digital marketing perspective. You may reference:

 • Attention economy • Scroll behavior • Visual hierarchy • Brand perception • Trust building • Emotional triggers • Information processing • Conversion influence

Be analytical. This is not a design reflection. This is marketing reasoning.

By having a recurring photo every paragraph, I can maintain the reader’s attention. They take the most important message from each section and highlight the key parts. For example, the section about eating protein includes a protein-based meal and someone flexing; the message is clear: protein builds strength. The way it is visually laid out is designed for easy scrolling with minimal text and visual emphasis, so the reader will not spend too long on one section. The visuals take the most bare bones understanding of a section and make it memorable for the reader. If the reader only retains 10 percent of written information and the majority is visual, then I want them to remember the core points of each fact. This is especially true for the ending one, that having a trainer who is immensely beneficial for nutrition and being able to stay accountable. That is the one that leads people to decide that they need a trainer to help them in their journey, and it’s why it’s closest to the CTA.
